Better Geiger S2 Pre-order

Please read: The original Better Geiger S1 is no longer available, pre-orders to be first in line for version S2 are now being accepted. Product images are not yet updated. S2 pre-orders are planned to ship by the end of June.

Generally the S2 is the same radiation detector as the S1 but with improvements and added features. The shape, size, and form factor are generally the same. The internal sensor is the same. It is still powered by AA batteries. The main changes and improvements are noted below:

  • Increased maximum dose rate range

  • Larger display

  • Dose rate and total dose rate alarm mode options added

  • Case is better sealed to reduce risk of dust/water damage

Add-on options are the same for the new S2 as the original S1: Rubber shock-protector included automatically for free. Optional waterproof case can be added for (+$30). Optional test material (small quantity of Uranium ore in a plastic vial) can also be added (+$30).
